Install a FiveM MLO on ESX or QBCore
How to install a standalone FiveM MLO on an ESX, QBCore, or any other server - folder, server.cfg, game build, and what the map does not include.
updated 2026-10-30
Our maps are standalone: they need no framework, database, or script. The same steps work on ESX, QBCore, or any other server.
Install
-
Download the resource from Assets on portal.cfx.re, free or paid, and extract it.
-
Copy the resource folder into your server's
resourcesfolder. Keep the folder name; thefxmanifest.luamust sit at its top level. -
Add it to
server.cfg:ensure dzr-coolbeansUse the folder name of the map you installed.
-
Set at least the game build the map lists on its store page:
sv_enforceGameBuild 3889 -
Restart the whole server. The game build only changes at startup.
Escrowed maps also need the server license key from the Cfx.re account that bought them. See Fix "You lack the required entitlement".
What a map does not include
A map adds the building, its rooms, props, and collision. Jobs, shops, sitting, and door locks come from your own scripts. Doors and seats in our maps are separate props, so your door-lock and sitting scripts can use them.
Check for conflicts
Two maps that replace the same GTA files, or build in the same area, can break each other. Each map's docs list the files it replaces. See FiveM MLO conflicts.
