Common questions about buying, running, and getting help with DZR resources. For anything not covered here, see Getting support.
Buying and payments
Who handles payment?
Tebex processes every purchase as Merchant of Record, so receipts, taxes, payment problems, and refunds go through Tebex, not us.
- Your receipt email has Tebex's support contact for that order.
- Past orders are in your Tebex payment history.
- Tebex customer support and checkout terms cover refunds and disputes.
How do I use a discount code?
Codes are posted in our Discord. Enter one at checkout; it is applied before you pay.
What do I need to run a resource?
Each store page lists the requirements: game build, framework, and dependencies. Maps also list their location, so you can check them against the other maps you run. Check these before you buy; see the Terms of Service for compatibility.
Can I edit a resource?
It depends on the resource, and its store page says what you can edit. In a
protected (escrowed) resource, files it lists as editable, like
config.lua, can be changed; the protected files cannot. Open-source
resources can be edited freely for your own servers.
Downloads and updates
Where do I download what I bought?
From portal.cfx.re, signed in with the Cfx.re account you used at checkout, under your assets. Delivery is usually instant but can take up to 30 minutes.
Not there after 30 minutes? Check you are signed in with the right account, then open a Purchase / Tebex ticket with your Tebex transaction ID.
I signed in with the wrong Cfx account at checkout
Cfx.re lets you move it yourself: in portal.cfx.re, open the asset's menu and choose Transfer. You can transfer an asset once, within 28 days of purchase, and it cannot be undone. See how to transfer assets.
Past 28 days, open a Purchase / Tebex ticket with your transaction ID. We cannot guarantee re-delivery to a different account.
How do I get updates?
Updates are free for as long as we sell the resource. When we release one, download the latest version from portal.cfx.re and replace the folder on your server. Back up your config files first. Changelogs are posted in our Discord.
Running resources
Can I use one purchase on multiple servers?
Your license covers FiveM servers you operate or control. A protected resource runs on any server whose license key belongs to the Cfx.re account that owns it. Reselling, sharing, bundling, or re-uploading is not allowed; see the Terms of Service.
The resource will not start
Look up the console message in Common errors. It covers entitlement and escrow errors, missing dependencies, game builds, and crashes.
Something broke after a server update, or conflicts with another script
Open a Bug Report ticket with your console output. We fix problems in our resources. Conflicts caused by third-party or escrowed scripts we cannot see are outside what we can debug, but we will point you in the right direction when we can.
When a map, MLO, or shell conflicts with another map, include both resource names and the location. We will try to provide a compatibility patch, but we cannot guarantee one. Map conflicts covers how to find the conflicting map first.
Support
How fast is support?
DZR Assistant, an AI built by DZR Development, answers first: it triages your ticket and helps with basic questions. Our support staff step in for anything it cannot solve. Staff aim to reply within 72 hours, usually much sooner, so please be patient.
Do I need Discord to get support?
Yes. Support runs through tickets in our Discord: you get a private channel and a transcript when the ticket closes. For a charge or a refund, use the Tebex support contact on your receipt instead.
Do you take custom work or paid installs?
Not right now; our focus is the resource catalog. If you are stuck installing something you bought, that is what Install / Setup tickets are for.
